This second model-year production of Manitou's Black suspension fork design is hotter than ever! Reverse arch technology, rigid 30mm stanchions, and travel that's adjustable at the twist of a dial, either 100mm or 120mm! Plush coil springs, Quick Range TPC damping, alloy steer tube, and hollow forged crown.
Inside this special version of the `03 Black Comp, you'll find the Rapid Travel Adjust system, which allows you to switch between 100 and 120mm of coil-sprung travel with a simple twist of an external dial. The all-new FluidFlow damping system features an external Quick Range rebound adjuster, requiring only a short half turn to go completely through the wide range of adjustment. The internals are now also better protected by Manitou's new Evil Genius seals and Semi-Bath Lubrication system, dramatically improving durability and decreasing service requirements, while simultaneously decreasing stiction. Externally, the upgraded alloy steerer results in signifigant weight savings over the standard 2003 Black Comp. Compatible with all 74mm post-style disc brakes.
